Dear Spiritual Family
Because the connection between money and spiritual work can be so confusing and hurtful, I want to clearly express our attitude about it. Our Mission, no matter how noble it's goals must not add pressure and quilt to the donors by hounding you for support. You are as dear to us as God's people.
We believe in " Affectionate Generosity ". It seems fitting to support projects or organizations you believe in as a joy and privilege, not an obligation. It's not our business to remind you to compete with other worthy causes for your support. We feel it's your responsibility to commit your funds wherever you feel they may be put to best use. We won't pester you.
We have only a few loyal donors, no regular grants or government funding, etc. No salaries are paid and no money is spent on fund-raising, it all goes to our programs and missions. We spent around R 25 000.00 per month to run this mission.
We believe that a rand offered with affectionate generosity has great impact on the mission field. Your donations express a trust in us, which encourage and inspire our work. The R1 donor and the R1000 donor are equally responsible for whatever The Mission accomplices in the mission field.
