Vision
Cape to Cairo.
To reach and equip leaders in Africa with proper discipleship training so that they can full-fill the great commission.
Explanation about the vision.
December 2011 God give Johan a vision where he where dreaming that he is standing on Blouberg Beach in Cape Town with Table Mountain in then back. On the side of the mountain was a very thick cloud with the words written on it in gold: :Cape to Cairo". Johan ask God what it means and God said: "Your Southern border will be Cape Town and the Northern border Cairo and everything in between your mission field"
After prayer and seeking God face, both me and my wife come to the conclusion that we must move to Cape Town from Pretoria to make a statement and claim the vision. Johan also have meetings with Hannes v/d Westhuizen of Change a Nation who's headquarters are in Cape Town and they both share the vision. They both pray and feel that Johan will be have the Africa department where he will be involved in training. Everything then just fall in place and we move in April 2012 to Cape Town where we have settle in Somerset West on the property of the AFM church.
In October 2012 Johan Lourens and Johan Bloem visit Malawi for a wedding and introduce a Faith- net program to the leaders. They then identified the need of proper training for the church leaders. In January 2013 Johan travel to Botswana and he identified the same need there. In April the same year he travel with a team of 2 other to Malawi to present the first discipleship training which where a huge success. In July a follow-up was done and in September the third discipleship training programme, and it is still growing as the word is spread with other leaders in Kenya, Burundi and Uganda already invited them.
Really God is at work and Cape to Cairo has started! In the meantime God is bringing more and more people together with Johan and Johan Bloem who has the same discipleship vision. In June, while busy with devotions, the Lord told me we must go to White River to help another mission organisation. When I phoned, asking if they have any needs, they answered with some hesitation, that they have prayed for help as they struggle to manage with all the maintenance, administration and ministry. I then told them that God is sending us to go and help, immediately the person said it was an answer to prayer. After discussing it as a family and praying we got the date to depart, the 7th of August 2013. We just serve them.
On returning from Malawi we strongly felt that God wants us to stay for another month and help at the ministry centre and also attend a course on Discipleship which is presented by the Kingstone Project. It is God that arrange this for proper training.

Leadership
Johan Lourens is the full-time co-ordinator for the discipleship program under the governance of Change a Nation. His wife, Esther, and other volunteers ably assist Johan as he personally arranges, supervises and accounts for the training programmes. Johan also interacts with the leaders of various church missions.
Mission
Personal visits to countries in Africa and by media like e-mail, Telegram, SMS and social media.
Vision
Changing nations through Leadership Training, Sharing of Scripture, the Mobilization of Prayer, and Discipling of Believers across the African continent from Cape to Cairo.
What is Change a Nation
WHAT IS CHANGE A NATION?
Change a Nation is establish in 2009 to promote sports as part of the Soccer World Event that was presented by South Africa in 2010. Since then Change a Nation has been growing and expandig into TWO LEGS. Sports Development and Leadership Training in Africa.
1. SportsDevelopement. In the Cape we have Hannes & Natalie van der Westhyzen, Neels Brits and Ewald & Anri Steyn in then Freestate we have Anton and Zelda Mosterd. We are continuing to show rapid growth in South Africa to as people take on the responsibility of children in their communities. If you would like to support these amazing people please contact me so that I can put you in contact with them. We are also very involved with a development centre for children in Atlantis called Mountview Pre-Primary Centre. The Sports development program are also active in Paarl, Milnerton, Port Elizabeth and Pretoria. All coordinators are volunteers.
2. Leadership Training.In 2012 the training where launched in Malawi with 12 leaders and today is is expanding to Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania and Mozambique where training coordinators where appointed and these countries been visited. Up to date about 9000 leaders where trained. The Africa training are under the management of the 3 J's. JL, JB and Joe. The need for training has been expose for we realise that there is a huge need for proper spirutual training under leaders in Africa. We have got an mandate from God to train leaders in Africa with the Kingdom Truth and break the boundaries of religion and tradition that keep people for so long away from a pure and true relationship with Jesus Christ. We ONLY use the BIBLE and the guidance of the Holy Spirit as reference in what we teach. Joh 8:32 said: “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Joh_14:6, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
WE PRESENT THE TRAINING TOTALLY FREE OF CHARGE and WORK ON INVITATION ONLY, right across Africa. Currently we have visit Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Kenya and are looking for more countries to present the training. We are also involved in 42 of Africa 54 countries via TELEGRAM GROUPS where we provide daily spiritual food and training for leaders.
How we work and what must you do? You must CONFIRM this 3 points below
Cost for you
1. You must INVITE us and GIVE US 3 possible dates that you want us to visit YOU. The timespan must not be longer than 21 Days-3 weeks. Minumum 7 Days.
2. You must provide the venue and food for the students at your cost.
3. You must host us. NOT in hotels, but in the pastor's or church member's house. (Only if possible, otherwise we shall pay our own accommodation in a basic rest house)
What we do when we receive the invitation.
